Kudos to Nick Davis for having the courage to leave his professional job in journalism to relocate to a new country and start a business. I enjoy listening to Michelle’s podcast because I learn something new with every guest. It also gives me the real world facts and figures. Funding a business is not simple, it’s not like I have a dream and boom! Here is the money. I love this podcast! Michelle showcases some amazing entrepreneurs dedicated to funding and scaling exciting businesses on the continent. She opens a door that many don’t know exists. I also like how she structures the write up for each of the podcast. Some podcasts have a very sparse description and you don’t really know what you’re gonna get. With the detailed write up an entrepreneur can find the right content that fits the specific challenge they are having. My favorite aspect of what Michelle brings to the table is ‘real talk’. She prompts her guests to get to the heart of the matter and talk about issues like following your passions, avoiding burnout, and getting paid for your worth. The podcast is a great contribution to the scene of finance and entrepreneurship in Africa. Listen and share it with your people!

At times the journey of a solopreneur can be so lonely and overwhelming. Many times the next step is not clear enough or the obstacles seems so momentous that you think throwing in the towel might be your only option.
